The MTU 12V4000 DS1650 4-cycle generator set is supported globally and is designed and manufactured in facilities that have been accredited to the ISO2008:9001 and ISO2004:1400 standards. Additionally, it exceeds load steps according to ISO 8528-5 and complies with G3 according to ISO 8528. It complies with NEMA MG1, BS5000, ISO, DIN EN, and IEC specifications. According to NFPA 110, it accepts rated load in a single step.

It has system ratings between 1490 and 1600 kVA, uses little fuel, is better at integrating systems, has a high level of power availability, and has long maintenance intervals.
